Fancypants was created by two mums that wanted the best for their children. It started by designing and creating amazing washable cloth nappies that were super absorbent and made of natural (bamboo) material. The successful development of the Fancypants brand of nappies then led to the development of bamboo nappy liners and Soapnuts laundry detergent.
As they continued on their journey of motherhood, they also saw the need for potty training pants, swim nappies, night time nappy covers and booster pads. All of these items have again been created with the same attention to detail and uncompromising use of quality natural fabrics as our original nappies.

Gay’s Guernsey Dairy

Gay credits her many awards to the top quality, flavoursome, and well-balanced butterfat and protein ratio of Guernsey milk.
In her own words: “In my business, where I add value to my product by making yoghurt and particularly cheese, it is important to have good milk solids in order to get a higher conversion rate. On average I use 8 to 8.6 litres of milk to make 1kg of cheese.

“I guarantee that my milk contains no antibiotics, hormones or preservatives. And in order to do that, I only use milk from my own cows. Even if I cannot keep up with the demand I will never take the risk of compromising quality by buying in milk.

“We also  have a strict and ongoing testing regime to ensure that all our cattle are certified free of tuberculosis and brucellosis,” says Gay. And her Guernseys are true-to-the-breed being docile with an ideal “dairy temperament” and a bi-colour coat that enhances heat tolerance and reduces heat stress.

A2 protein in Guernsey milk can change lives.  Many lactose intolerant people have found that they are able to use Gay’s Guernsey products without any side effects. Gay puts this down to the fact that 96% of Guernseys have the A2 protein in their milk – the same protein found in goat’s milk.
